Some Bible verses to encourage you for the New Year. :) Meditate on these verses! God bless us all in 2016 and may we draw closer and closer to Jesus and may we learn to love our enemies, to bless them and pray for them, just like our Lord commands us to do, so that we can be children of our Father in Heaven. Jesus tells us to be perfect, therefore, as our heavenly Father is perfect. Let us strive for that.︵‿†♡
I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
~•Philippians 3:13-14 The Message (MSG)
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!”
~•Lamentations 3:22-24 NKJV
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
~•Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV
A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.

Christ the Bridegroom and His Bride the Church
He
who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom,
who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s
voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. He must increase, but I
must decrease.
John 3:29-30
Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
Revelation 19:7-9
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Revelation 21:9-15
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:28
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
Romans 10:12
Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,

Prophesying lies in the Name of the Lord
Look what happened to Hananiah after giving a false prophecy in the Name of the Lord:
“Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: ‘I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. Within two full years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon. And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went to Babylon,’ says the Lord, ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’”
Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck and broke it. And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years.’” And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
Now the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, “Go and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made in their place yokes of iron.” For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. I have given him the beasts of the field also.”’”
Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie. Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the Lord.’”
So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month."
~•Jeremiah 28:2-4,10-17
Just sayin'. Be careful to speak a word in the Name of the Lord when it is not from Him.

Insulted | Blessed
Well, in this week I've been called (online by homosexuals and some "Christians" agreeing with homosexual preachers/marriage/lifestyle), satanic, antichrist, religitard, my hair and my clothes and profile pic were insulted. I was told I look sad and bitter. They definitely don't know me. When they cannot argue with the word of God because it convicts them, they get personal and insulting. How they can interpret what we say in love, as being "homophobic" and "bigotry" is beyond me. Some of the homosexuals claim they are Christians, but they say the Bible should be adapted for today, constantly casting doubt on the Bible and they are the ones calling me satanic/antichrist, yet they talk about their loving God and going against His word. I asked where is the repentance and what is the name of their God, because if they are coming against His word, their god sure is not the God of the Bible?....I'm still waiting.
But glory be to God for His word which has taught me that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities of darkness in high places. So I don't hold it against them, I understand and I forgive them and prefer to pray for them.
So the other day after this verbal assault, I just had to go have quiet time with my Heavenly Father. I poured my heart out to Him, told Him (like He does not already know! lol) about the churches here ordaining homosexuals as deacons, elders and pastors and how the shepherds don't care about their souls, but are leading them the wrong way and not caring about Jesus' sheep! Oh I just had a good talk with God. (Homosexuals reading here will probably think I'm delusional, hearing voices and need to be committed, been accused of that too lol). Nope, I don't 'hear' a literal voice, but my God sure does speak to me!
I was done and read my Bible and this is what God led me to:
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.~•1 Peter 4:12-19
I was so encouraged and strengthened in my spirit. I will keep fighting the good fight of faith and no devil in hell will shut me up, only God can and He won't, not while I'm speaking His truth in love to a dying world out there.
(As I was pondering all this after writing it in my journal, this popped into my head out of nowhere!):
Onward Christian soldier, marching as to war, with the love of Jesus, marching on before.
That's how it popped in my head, with the word 'love', not cross,
but that's the same really isn't it?...the cross is all about love. :)

Giving to God
Let us give our best when we help the poor, the needy. Jesus said if we've done it unto the least of his brethren, we've done it unto Him. Wouldn't we want to give the best food and drink and clothes to Jesus? Let us do likewise to the poor and needy.
Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
~•Amos 8:4-6
And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
~•2 Samuel 24:24
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
~•Matthew 25:40

The Danger of the Blood Moon Phenomenon
The Danger of the Blood Moon Phenomenon
By: David Lazarus, Israel Today—
A good friend called me this week to ask what I thought of the Year
of Shemitah and what some are saying is the beginning of the end of the
world. He had been following many of the popular Christian and Messianic
books, magazines, videos and sermons prophesying that there would be
devastating financial turmoil in the American economy coinciding with
this year’s Jewish holidays.
I told him it is wrong for Christians and Messianics to make doom and
gloom predictions based on misguided misinterpretations of ancient
Jewish practices. America may very well be on the verge of calling down
God’s judgments because morality has imploded, not because of Jewish
agricultural customs connected to the Land of Israel.
Nevertheless, when reports of a fall in the stock markets appeared
just days ahead of the Jewish New Year, Christian and Messianic media
screamed again with headlines of “Bloodbath in Global Markets” and
“Blood Moons.” Of course the temporary drop in stock prices had nothing
to do with the ancient Hebrew practice of resting the land every seven
years, nor with cycles of the moon. Stocks dropped over concerns in the
slowing growth of the Chinese markets, and rebounded quickly because the
American economy is, in fact, getting stronger.
Here is why we must not let ourselves be lead astray by these
sensational, unfounded interpretations of the Hebrew calendar, as I told
my friend.
Christians and Messianics are wasting precious time and resources
waiting for a financial collapse that never happens. It reminds me of an
old Bedouin Muslim I befriended in the Sinai Desert. When I asked him
why the Bedouin’s don’t plant crops on their land, he replied, “Seven
years ago there was a flood that destroyed all of our crops. It is
Allah’s will that it be destroyed, so why should I plant again?” That is
the Islamic belief in fatalism that prevents progress and development.
Christians who follow these sensational proclamations about the end of
the world likewise paralyze themselves by foolishly believing a lie.
Some Christians might find it convenient to disengage from a world they believe will soon collapse.
Following these unbiblical prophecies is dangerous on many levels. We
are left scratching our heads in unbelief when Christian and Messianic
predictions of collapse based on sensationalistic interpretations of
Scripture continually prove false. Some have lost faith altogether.
Nowadays, these popular predictions of collapse spread like wildfire
over the Internet for all the world to see. What do people think about
Christians obsessed with a financial crisis that never happens, or
red-colored moons that never appear? These sensationalistic
pronouncements have become an embarrassment to the good name of our Lord Jesus and are making a mockery of our Messianic faith. It is hard enough explaining to my people how so many terrible things could happen in the name of Jesus. Now I also have to explain to Israelis why Christians believe that American financial markets will crash on a
Jewish holiday? Oy.
I am not excited about the world ending anytime soon, and I would
appreciate it if Messianic Jews and Christians would stop using
misguided attempts to misinterpret Jewish customs to sow fear. What we
already know to be true about our sinful nature and the state of our
fallen world are more than enough to remind us of the coming judgment.
Sufficient to the day is its own evil.

Paul's Hardships
Just look at all the hardships Paul went through. Doesn't seem like he lived his best life then. It does look like he had LOTS of hardships though! Just like Jesus said about his followers.
They were poor! They owned nothing! Read there in 2 Corinthians 6, Paul's own words!
Look what the late David Wilkerson had to say about the prosperity gospel:
AMEN!
Jesus said that in this world we will have tribulation, but to take heart because He has overcome the world. Jesus said a servant is not greater than his master. He said if they persecuted Him they will persecute us. Jesus said take up your cross and follow Him.
They were poor! They owned nothing! Read there in 2 Corinthians 6, Paul's own words!
Look what the late David Wilkerson had to say about the prosperity gospel:
"Satan's gospel is 'gain is godliness'. In this day and age of success and prosperity preaching, do you wanna hear what the gospel says??? Are you interested??? Here it is from the words of our Master Himself...."
"BLESSED ARE YOU POOR, For yours is the kingdom of God.
Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled.
Blessed are you who weep now, For you shall laugh.
Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man's sake."
Here's what the gospel says about people in these modern times in the church who's seeking after material things...from the lips of Jesus Himself!...
"BUT WOE TO YOU WHO ARE RICH, For you have received your consolation.
Woe to you who are full, For you shall hunger.
Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep.
Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets!!"
"The gospel of gain despises poverty. It rejects and despises the poor.
Listen to what James said..."But you have despised the poor"!!
"For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place," and say to the poor man, "You stand there," or, "Sit here at my footstool,"
"This is a gospel of partiality to the prosperous and successful and it's an indictment against the poor to whom Jesus ministered. It exalts prosperity and success. James said are you not partial? Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be RICH IN FAITH and heirs of the kingdom?..."
"And for you preachers of the gospel who try to tell me that He became poor that we can become rich in houses and lands, you don't know your Bible! There it is, it says "has not God chosen the poor RICH IN FAITH"!!
HOW BLIND IS THE CHURCH TODAY! HOW BLIND! Is this the gospel for a dying world?!..."gain is godliness, faith is for prosperity, poor people lack faith, Christ became poor so that we could become rich in material goods"? "He came to give us abundant life"...Is abundant life supposed to be worldly goods?! NO!...that's ETERNAL LIFE!"
~David Wilkerson
AMEN!
Jesus said that in this world we will have tribulation, but to take heart because He has overcome the world. Jesus said a servant is not greater than his master. He said if they persecuted Him they will persecute us. Jesus said take up your cross and follow Him.

By His Spirit
I see unbelievers, especially atheists, mocking the animals gathered to Noah's ark. I thank God for His word that we can read in the Bible! Just the other day God led me to a scripture which tells us exactly how He did it.
Isaiah 34 is speaking about God's judgment to come on the nations, how places will be laid waste, uninhabitable and how it will become the dwelling place of animals and He will command them by His mouth and gather them together to these places BY HIS SPIRIT. :) That's how He did it with the animals in Noah's day. He gathered them together by HIS SPIRIT. Hallelujah! Thank you my God for your wonderful word full of truth!

God's protection!
This morning (14th June 2015) when I tried to open the front door, it wouldn't open. The handle turned way too much around so I knew someone must have tried to break into our house!
So my husband went around the back to check the front door from the outside and 'lo and behold the front door handle was missing!
I reckon the burglars must have been interrupted. To think we did not hear a thing! They could have broken in and killed my Mom, my husband and I. But THANKS BE TO OUR GOD who is faithful and did not allow them to enter our house! Thank you Jesus my LORD! I am always praying for protection around our house. Criminals have stolen much from us through the years. Broken into our garage a few times, stolen our pool motors twice. Unbelievable how brazen they are and they use marijuana or meth to be so brazen to do their crime. One time when a guy broke into our garage the whole garage smelled of dope! He got away by scaling our 6 foot wall with our weedeater in hand. But they have never gotten inside our house. I give God the glory for that!
Anyway, initially, after realising that someone tried to break into our home, I had a little bit of nauseous feeling in my tummy, but that went away quickly and I have this peace about me. (Holy Spirit! :D )
I decided to have some alone time with the Lord and thank Him for keeping us safe from harm, who cares about a door handle anyway. So I put on some worship music, worshipped our God and then I prayed and then God led me in His word to Proverbs 6:30-31 !! :) See, God knows, He sees all and God will bless us sevenfold what the devil has stolen from us through the years and it is not just material. He has stolen peace and joy from us through the years etc. and God is truly faithful in giving it back to us with interest! Hallelujah! Glory be to God! <3
Just wanted to share this with you to remind you to always pray God's protection over you and your loved ones and over your property and to show you how faithful God is and how He speaks to us through His word! God's word truly is alive!
People do not despise a thief
If he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving.
Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold;
He may have to give up all the substance of his house.
~•Proverbs 6:30-31
And as I am typing here, two police vans are chasing a car, sirens galore, down our street! The devil is working overtime! We have to stay in prayer saints! God bless all of you. ♥

The goodness of God
I will never forget a Sunday in September 2013. Early the morning during my time with the Lord, He led me to this scripture. Later that morning my Ma had a stroke. As we went through the motions, in hindsight, there was a peace in all of us (Ma, my husband and I) as we were driving her to the hospital, we were even joking and laughing in the car. Peace surrounding us at the hospital.
The Lord brought to my remembrance what I read that morning and I was so happy, so so happy knowing God is in control, worrying won't help one bit!
Pray we did and for her healing and I told the Lord when He heals her from that stroke, I will testify in front of the whole congregation to His glory. (I am terribly shy, fear of man)
Exactly 10 days later, my Mom called me all excited that God healed her because she can use her hand again, pick up heavy objects which she could not do. (Her healing was gradual over 10 days, from above her left elbow down to her fingers.)
On her 72nd birthday God healed her. :)
I was elated! Later I thought about what I promised the Lord. I was very nervous and praying fervently for God to help me, to give me boldness, courage to speak in front of the people.
That day when I went up front my lips were quivering, my voice shaky, I was crying, but I did it! :) Glory be to God! ♥
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength! ♥
While making this picture I felt led to share this. God bless all who read here in Jesus' Name.

Evergreen
There are apostles and prophets in America who started a prayer movement. On their banner is an evergreen tree.
So I see some Christians coming against them because they use the evergreen tree as a symbol. These Christians describe the evergreen as a phallic and pagan symbol.

For those calling the evergreen tree a "phallic/pagan symbol"....In
Isaiah God says that He will decorate His sanctuary with cypress, fir
and pine trees (evergreen)! Evergreen trees were created by Almighty
God. It does not belong to the pagans, just as the rainbow does not
belong to the LGBT movement. It belongs to God who created it. :D
How can there be anything wrong with a prayer movement? The only one scared of a prayer movement and who would want to stop it, is the devil and his minions! o_O
Don't stand in God's way!

The Anointing
When God sent Ananias to lay hands on Saul, he was anointed to preach
the gospel! When he started preaching in the synagogues, telling
people that Jesus is the Son of God, everyone who heard him was amazed! :)
And notice how Jesus said Saul will suffer for the sake of His Name, not that he would become stinking rich and be a prosperity preacher.

Sins of ancestors
A prophetess claims that we should repent and seek forgiveness for the sins of our ancestors. Really?
And she uses these verses in 1 Peter 1 to try and justify what she says:
John Gill's commentary regarding "your aimless conduct received by the tradition from your fathers" reads as follows:
And she uses these verses in 1 Peter 1 to try and justify what she says:
knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.I don't understand why she uses that verse to try to convince us to repent and seek forgiveness for the sins of our ancestors.
~•1 Peter 1:18-19
John Gill's commentary regarding "your aimless conduct received by the tradition from your fathers" reads as follows:
meaning not the corruption of nature, which is propagated from father to son by natural generation, and lies in the vanity of the mind, and is the spring and source of an evil conversation; though the saints, as they are redeemed from all sin, so from this, that it shall not be their condemnation; not Gentilism, which lay in vain philosophy, in idolatry and superstition, and in evil and wicked conversation, encouraged by the example of their ancestors; but Judaism, and either regards the ceremonial law, which was delivered by Moses to the Jewish fathers, and by them handed down to their posterity; and which was vain, as used and abused by them, and was unprofitable to obtain righteousness, life, and salvation by, and therefore was disannulled by Christ, who has redeemed and delivered his people from this yoke of bondage; or rather the traditions of the elders, which our Lord inveighs against, ( Matthew 15:3 ) &c. and the Apostle Paul was brought up in, and zealous of, before conversion, ( Galatians 1:14 ) as the Pharisees were. These were the inventions and decrees of them they called (twba) , "fathers", to whose dogmas and decisions they paid the utmost respect. No! Jesus became cursed on the cross in my place. I need only confess and repent and seek forgiveness for my OWN sins, not those of my ancestors!
The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. Please read the Bible so that you can discern the false from the truth. Don't hang on the words of false prophets. Be wise as serpents, gentle as doves.
~•Ezekiel 18:20
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
~•2 Corinthians 5:21
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Pour out your heart
Are you hurting? Are you all broken up inside? Is your heart torn to
pieces? Because people, even loved ones maybe, hurt you terribly? Run
to your Heavenly Father and pour out your heart to Him, cry out to Him!
He will fix it, He will comfort you. God is the Healer of broken
hearts and He will bind up your sorrows.
God loves you and is waiting for you with outstretched arms. ♥
God loves you and is waiting for you with outstretched arms. ♥
Faith, forgiveness and prayer
Let go of all unforgiveness before we pray, so that God can also forgive us. If we do not, God won't forgive us our sins.
If you are having trouble letting go and to forgive someone, take it to
God in prayer, be honest with God, ask His help. Pray for those who
hurt you, who did you wrong, pray with all your heart for them. It will
change you, it will make you grow in your love for others, even your
enemies, just like Jesus said, to love our enemies, pray for them, bless
them. God will help you and fill your heart with His love for people.
God bless you.

False prophets
False prophets are everywhere on Facebook, writing their "words from
the Lord". God led me to scripture this morning after I saw
another false "word from the Lord" last night on FB.
The second time I see a similar word from the Lord from two different
"prophetesses" in 18 days.
It seems like the message they want to get out there is for us to not pray so much, because one "word from the Lord" said to stop asking God for things, He already knows what we need, so stop asking (I wrote about that in my previous blog entry, click the link to read it) and the other "word from the Lord" from another "prophetess" said that God says we do not have faith and we show it by our actions and our words, because we keep asking for the same thing over and over again.
Well that contradicts scripture because in Matthew 7:7-12 Jesus tells us to keep on asking, keep on knocking and to keep on searching and the door will be opened. Also the parable of the judge and the persistant widow tells us to keep on asking, to basically pester God in prayer! :)
There seems to be a common thread in certain "words from the Lord"...to pray less, stop asking.
So this morning after prayer, God led me to Jeremiah 8:8 and the last part of that scripture jumped at me.
Stay in prayer and keep on reading your Bibles saints! How else will we discern the lies from the truth? The devil is sending a message through these false prophets that we should cut down on prayer. If he could have his way he would prefer we do not pray at all! God bless you who read this. ♥

The Parable of the Persistent Widow
Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”
Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
Luke 18:1-8
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us'?
Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.

Keep asking
Someone has a "word from the Lord" that says we should stop asking
for things, He has already taken care of everything concerning us.
Jesus said we should keep knocking, keep searching, keep asking and the door will be opened for us, God will answer our prayers. I know God knows our needs before we even ask, but will He tell us to stop asking for things when Jesus said to keep on asking?
Whose report shall we believe? We shall believe the Report of the Lord!
“Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will
find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone
who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who
knocks, the door will be opened. What man among you, if his son asks him
for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give
him a snake? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to
your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things
to those who ask Him! Therefore, whatever you want others to do for
you, do also the same for them—this is the Law and the Prophets.

In the Name of Jesus Christ
I've heard it preached that you cannot just go up to someone and cast out devils, that you need that person's permission first, because the spirit in operation has legal rights to possessing that person because of the sins in their life.
Well when I read in Acts 16, I see a totally different thing happening.
A woman was following Paul and the others around. She was a fortune-teller and possessed by a spirit of divination. She kept on crying out that these men were servants of the Most High God proclaiming to them the way to salvation. Now imagine yourself in Paul's position...here you are proclaiming the good news to the people and there is this woman constantly shouting, being a distraction, a disturbance. See how the devil tries to hinder God's work?
Paul was greatly annoyed and turned around and commanded the devil to leave her! He did not first ask her if she wanted to be delivered, he just cast that devil out! There is power in the Name of Jesus.

When God punishes a nation
God led me in His word these last couple of days, even bringing me back
to the same passage in Ezekiel 21...I knew God wanted to show me
something, so I read and I re-read and it dawned on me...when God
punishes a nation, he punishes both the righteous and the wicked. The
Lord's sword comes against everyone when He punishes a nation.
That's why I believe we should pray fervently for our nations, our leaders.
Abba Yahweh is a merciful God, that is why He relents His punishment when the nation repents of their sin. God's word tells us to pray for our leaders. Even if you don't agree with the leader of your country or don't even like him, that does not matter, what matters is that you pray for him. If the leader of your country is your enemy, Jesus says love them, pray for them, bless them!
Not curse them like I see so many doing online and then I'm speaking about Christians! Are they not reading the Word of God or are they reading, but ignoring some of the Word of God?
Folks, if we don't love our enemies, we're in trouble. We can't even love those in our family, how then can we love our enemies? We seriously need to check our hearts and get right with God. Pray and ask Him to clean up our hearts and to fill it with His love for all people. He will do it!
We are to be a LIGHT to this dark world, not part of the darkness.
"and say to it: This is what the Lord says: I am against you. I will draw My sword from its sheath and cut off both the righteous and the wicked from you."
~•Ezekiel 21:3

Abba
The word Abba in Hebrew means Father. In my first language, Afrikaans, the word abba means to piggyback, to be carried on someone's back and shoulders.
That is just so much like our Heavenly Father, our Abba, carrying us through all our troubles in life. It reminds me of Footprints in the Sand.
That is just so much like our Heavenly Father, our Abba, carrying us through all our troubles in life. It reminds me of Footprints in the Sand.
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
~•Galatians 4:6
For you did not receive the
spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption
by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

~•Footprints in the Sand•~
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints,
is when I carried you."

Bless and be blessed
Christians, when your enemies revile you, do not revile back. Rather bless them! Bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that persecute you. And if we must do this for our enemies, how much more when the reviling is coming from Christians. We have been called to be a blessing, so that we can receive the blessings of God. (When I wrote that on a Christian page, a meanie Christian 'yelled' at me that it is not in the Bible, that I must have gotten that line from a prosperity pastor's book! lol ;) ) That verse (1 Peter 3:9) I was gleaning that from, is talking about temporal and spiritual blessings.
God promises us in His word that He will provide our needs. God blesses us also spiritually with peace of mind, our sins forgiven and assurance that we have everlasting life! Our God is a good God. He thinks good thoughts toward us.
When we fear Him and walk in His ways, He blesses us. I am not talking prosperity gospel here, but God does want to bless us.
The Bible says to delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
I know I'm stuck on this topic of praying for our enemies, blessing them, but I am just so in awe of the love of our God and I want to walk in obedience to Him. It was just such an eye-opener when God led me to these scriptures the first time. So many Christians are not doing what Jesus said, to pray for, love and bless all people, even our enemies. They get mad at me when I write about it. :( And it's not my words! It's the word of God! I also never used to pray for my enemies, but that all changed when I got saved and God started working on my heart.
So forgive me if I keep talking about this topic. :)

John Gill writes the following commentary on "that you may inherit a blessing":
Referring either to what goes before being called by grace to the discharge of all the above duties exhorted to, and particularly to suffer patiently all injuries and affronts; and instead of making returns in the same way, to bless and pray for those that have hurt us, either by words or deeds; see ( 1 Peter 2:20 1 Peter 2:21 ) or to what follows, that ye should inherit a blessing; temporal blessing or blessings; for godliness has the promise of this life and godly persons shall not want any good thing; and even while the blessings of others are cursed they have their outward mercies with a blessing, and they are blessings indeed to them; wherefore, the little they may have is better than the large affluence of others: and also spiritual blessing, or blessings; such as peace of conscience, the pardon of all their sins a justifying righteousness adopting grace, all supplies of grace from Christ, his presence and communion with him: and also an eternal one, even life for evermore; called so, because it springs from the free favour, good will, and blessing of God, and which its being an inheritance also shows; and because such that enjoy it are eternally and unspeakably happy.
"not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing."

Wait on God's counsel
Israel provoked God to anger in the wilderness. They forgot about all the wonderful things He did for them. They did not wait on His counsel. They were ungrateful for the manna He provided. They demanded meat. He gave them what they wanted, but God also punished them!
It is actually a sin not to wait on God. God has His timing, His way of doing things. God knows best. Yet we tend to want to decide things and do things in a hurry, instead of waiting on God's counsel.
May we never forget what God has done for us. I am sure God has done many good things in your life. He sure has in mine! I am also one who wants God to answer as soon as possible, but God is teaching me to be patient, to wait on Him! God wants us to wait on Him, to trust in Him. When we do, we can never go wrong. While to us it may feel like nothing is happening or changing, God is working behind the scenes. So never give up hope. Have faith when you pray about something, ask God for something. God is faithful and will come through for you.
John Gill writes the following commentary about this verse:
They did not ask counsel of God, though it belongs to him, and he is wonderful in it, and does all things after the counsel of his own will; nor would they take it when given by Moses and Joshua; they did not choose to wait his time and way of working; they were for limiting the Holy One of Israel to their time and way; they were for being in the land of Canaan before his time; and were for eating flesh, when it was his counsel to feed on manna he provided for them every day.
They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel,

Are we doing what Jesus commands us to do?
Jesus' words!
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
~•Matthew 5:43-48
An example how to love your enemy....read about where apostle Stephen was being stoned to death. He prayed for them while being killed! He asked God to not charge them with that sin!
"When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth.
55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
56 and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord;
58 and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
~•Acts 7:54-60
But most important of all is our Jesus who gives us the perfect example of how to love our enemies....when He was dying on the cross He prayed the Father to forgive them for they know not what they do.
"And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.
34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
~•Luke 23:33-34
Then I come on the internet and see Christians' comments on articles and many of them are full of hatred, condemning people to hell! Is that what our Lord Jesus wants from us? That is totally contradicting Jesus' commandments to us. Let us get back to the Bible and pray continuously, for all people, our governments, our loved ones and friends, our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering for their faith in the Lord Jesus, our enemies, therefore we shall be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect, just like Jesus said! God bless you and keep us strong in these evil days to stand for the truth of His word.

Backsliders
Let the word of God speak. God's hand is not too short to redeem a backslider. God Himself goes after His sheep gone astray. :) There is hope for the backslider. God will heal them and love them freely! He says so in His word!
Even though they left God, God never left them. God still loves them and He is still calling them through chastizing them. May our loved ones who are backsliders listen to God who is calling them to repentance. May God have mercy on their souls and bring them back to Him. May they again worship the Lord their God with their whole heart. Nothing is impossible for God. Let us stay in prayer for our loved ones. ♥

"Return, you backsliding children, And I will heal your backslidings." "Indeed we do come to You, For You are the Lord our God.
~•Jeremiah 3:22
"I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.
~•Hosea 14:4
For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
~•1 Peter 2:25
Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: 'Return, backsliding Israel,' says the Lord; 'I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,' says the Lord; ' I will not remain angry forever.
~•Jeremiah 3:12
Why, when I came, was there no man? Why, when I called, was there none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Indeed with My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink because there is no water, And die of thirst.

Seducers
The quote below is words from the Lord by I guess a prophetess.... apparently the Lord is speaking about us trying to add works to His finished work.
I highlighted the words in caps because that's what caught my eye. Since when will the enemy tell us to pray more? Since when is praying more, adding our works to Jesus' finished work? And since when is it wrong to pray more?
THE BIBLE tells us to PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!
Just the other day the Lord led me in His word to Ezekiel 13 where He tells Ezekiel to prophesy against the women who prophesy out of their own heart! And here I see this woman's "word from the Lord", contradicting the Bible. :(
Just like that prophecy given by Stanley Frodsham from 1965 said, they will first preach true doctrine, according to the Bible and then when they've won the hearts of the people, they bring in their false doctrines.
Quote from Stanley Frodsham's 1965 prophecy:
See, they will mix in a little bit of truth with their lies.
Christians, we need to discern false prophets/teachers and we can ask God for discernment. Ask Him, if you want to stand for the truth of God's word alone and no man/woman's false doctrine, God will see your heart for the truth and He will help you to discern, but we also need to stay in the Bible because that's how we will discern with the Holy Spirit's help! :) I don't know everything! But Holy Spirit is guiding me into all truth...slowly but surely, because I ask Him and I hunger for the truth.
Let us be wise as serpents in these evil days, yet gentle as doves. The only reason I am posting this is to warn people.
"It is THE ENEMY'S VOICE that tells you that your God is not enough. He TELLS YOU THAT YOU MUST PRAY MORE, fast more, and give more."

Quote from Stanley Frodsham's 1965 prophecy:
"I warn you to search the Scriptures diligently these last days. For the things that are written shall indeed be made manifest. There shall come deceivers among My people in increasing numbers, who shall speak forth the truth and shall gain the favor of the people. For the people shall examine the Scriptures and say, "What these men say is true." Then when they have gained the hearts of the people, then and THEN ONLY shall they bring out these wrong doctrines. Therefore, I say that you should not give your hearts to men, nor hold people's persons in admiration. For by these very persons shall Satan enter into My people. WATCH FOR SEDUCERS. Do you think a seducer will brandish a new heresy and flaunt it before the people? He will speak the words of righteousness and truth, and will appear as a minister of light, declaring the Word. The people's hearts shall be won. Then, when the hearts are won, they will bring out their doctrines, and the people shall be deceived. The people shall say, "Did he not speak thus and thus? And did we not examine it from the Word? Therefore he is a minister of righteousness."
See, they will mix in a little bit of truth with their lies.

Rejoice always, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
