Longing Bride

♡The Bride Longs for
the Bridegroom and Seeks Him♡

♡The Banquet♡

Song of Solomon 1:2-4 NKJV
² Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— For your love is better than wine.
³ Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.
Draw me away!  We will run after you.  The king has brought me into his chambers.  We will be glad and rejoice in you. We will remember your love more than wine.  Rightly do they love you.

Matthew 25:6-13 NKJV
⁶ “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
⁷ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
⁸ And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
⁹ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
¹¹ “Afterward the other [foolish] virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
¹² But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
¹³ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Psalms 2:12 NKJV
¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Be Doers

 ♡~•~♡~•~🩷🄹🄴🅂🅄🅂🩷~•~♡~•~♡

Doers, Not Only Hearers

James 1:22-25 NKJV‬

²² But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

²³ For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

²⁴ for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

²⁵ But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in  it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Serve one another

Jesus came to serve others, to give His life for us. We are to live our lives for Him by serving others, by bearing one another's burdens.  That is true love, selfless love. For everything we do for/to others, we are doing for/to Jesus and He will reward us in heaven one day.
God bless you.

God controls the weather

Look there... the Lord our God does all these things!  Either to punish people or to show His love and all He does is righteous and justified.

“My heart pounds as I think of this. It trembles within me.
Listen carefully to the thunder of God’s voice as it rolls from his mouth. It rolls across the heavens, and his lightning flashes in every direction.
Then comes the roaring of the thunder— the tremendous voice of his majesty.

He does not restrain it when he speaks. God’s voice is glorious in the thunder.
We can’t even imagine the greatness of his power.
“He directs the snow to fall on the earth and tells the rain to pour down. Then everyone stops working so they can watch his power.
The wild animals take cover and stay inside their dens.
The stormy wind comes from its chamber, and the driving winds bring the cold. God’s breath sends the ice, freezing wide expanses of water.

He loads the clouds with moisture, and they flash with his lightning. The clouds churn about at his direction. They do whatever he commands throughout the earth.

He makes these things happen either to punish people or to show his unfailing love."
Job 37:1‭-‬13

Faith, forgiveness and prayer

Let go of all unforgiveness before we pray, so that God can also forgive us. If we do not, God won't forgive us our sins.

If you are having trouble letting go and to forgive someone, take it to God in prayer, be honest with God, ask His help. Pray for those who hurt you, who did you wrong, pray with all your heart for them. It will change you, it will make you grow in your love for others, even your enemies, just like Jesus said, to love our enemies, pray for them, bless them. God will help you and fill your heart with His love for people.

God bless you.

Backsliders

Let the word of God speak.  God's hand is not too short to redeem a backslider.  God Himself goes after His sheep gone astray. :) There is hope for the backslider.  God will heal them and love them freely!  He says so in His word!
Even though they left God, God never left them.  God still loves them and He is still calling them through chastizing them.  May our loved ones who are backsliders listen to God who is calling them to repentance.  May God have mercy on their souls and bring them back to Him.  May they again worship the Lord their God with their whole heart.  Nothing is impossible for God.  Let us stay in prayer for our loved ones. ♥

"Return, you backsliding children, And I will heal your backslidings." "Indeed we do come to You, For You are the Lord our God.
~•Jeremiah 3:22

 "I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.
~•Hosea 14:4

For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
~•1 Peter 2:25

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: 'Return, backsliding Israel,' says the Lord; 'I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,' says the Lord; ' I will not remain angry forever.
~•Jeremiah 3:12

Why, when I came, was there no man? Why, when I called, was there none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Indeed with My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink because there is no water, And die of thirst.
~•Isaiah 50:2

The law of liberty

According to Strong's Concordance, the law being spoken of in James 1:25 is the moral instruction given by Christ, the command about love.  The true liberty is living how we should, not as we please.  We are told to continue in that law of liberty, to abide in it. So what does Jesus Christ command us to do?  In Matthew 22 and Luke 10 Jesus commands us to love God with all our heart, with all our soul, all our strength and with all our mind and to love our neighbour as ourself.When we do that, we will have the heart of Jesus to be compassionate towards widows, orphans, our neighbour.  Who is our neighbour?  Anyone who needs help.  It does not matter who it is, we should show compassion and have mercy on all people in need.  You do that and you fulfill all the law!  See Galatians 5. :)   But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. 26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless. 27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world~•James 1:22-27    Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." ~•Matthew 22:37-40   So he answered and said, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.' " ~•Luke 10:27   For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."~•Galatians 5:14

Be ye Holy

This morning God led me to 1 Peter 3. I've been in tears about the attitude of Christians toward one another online.  The name-calling, the insults, the lack of love, it is shocking.  Yes I am speaking of Christians, because that's what they claim to be.  To think we are accused of being holy.  Do we so easily forget that God calls us to be holy?

What must the world think about Christians when we carry on like that?  May God have mercy on the Body of Christ and forgive us and lead us to repent from this.  Bless your HOLY name Jesus, may we be an example of Christ in us, even online!  Help me Jesus, to always keep this in mind!
We must never forget to be holy, because God tells us to be Holy because He is holy.

8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;
9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
10 For "He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.
11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
13 And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled."
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
16 having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.

His Banner over me is Love

He brings me to the banquet hall;
his banner over me is love.
