Break Anxiety's Grip

Break Anxiety's Grip

Uncover the sources of your anxiety

Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV
²³ Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
²⁴ in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Luke 17:5-6 NKJV
And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Do you have trust issues with God? Do you believe that He loves you and will help you when you pray and ask Him? You must pray in faith and where you lack faith, ask God to increase your faith.

Stop being afraid of fear
Faith overcomes fear.
Trust God and overcome your fear.

II Timothy 1:7 NKJV
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Ask God to renew your mind

Philippians 4:6-8 NKJV
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are  lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there  is any virtue and if there  is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Colossians 3:2 NKJV
² Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
¹⁰ Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Psalms 4:8 NKJV
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Joshua 1:9 NKJV
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Be strengthened by God's word.

Offer up your prayers and requests to God

I Peter 5:7 NKJV
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Talk to God about your fears. He surely will help you overcome them by His Spirit when you give your concerns to Jesus, your Prince of Peace and He will give you His perfect peace.🕊🩷

Rise up! Lift up your voice!

Facebook is preventing me from logging into my personal account and therefore I cannot admin my two Christian pages that I created through that personal account. I made those pages years ago and it took years to grow them. For no reason FB prevents me from accessing my account. They sent me two e-mails that someone wanted to change my password. I thought it was fake and ignored it and rushed to activate two-Factor Authentication. Then my problems started and I was not able to log in again even though FB allowed me to change my password. FB keeps throwing me a pop up that claims they don't recognise the device I'm trying to log in from. Absolutely ridiculous. I use my phone and laptop always.
I e-mailed FB but have not heard anything from them.

I cried so many tears over my Facebook pages. I prayed about it and the other day God led me in His word and I knew it was for me! To not stop but to continue to lift up my voice to bring good tidings.
May God bless me seven-fold what the enemy has stolen from me. Who knows, maybe God will get me back my pages or maybe God allowed it because He has something better for me.

Never trust these platforms. They will cancel you at the click of a button.

When the enemy tries to silence your voice, rise up! Lift up your voice! Lift up the name of JESUS!

Isaiah 40:9, 11 NKJV‬
⁹ O Zion, You who bring good tidings, Get up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, You who bring good tidings, Lift up your voice with strength, Lift it up, be not afraid; Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”
¹¹ He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.

Are we doing what Jesus commands us to do?

Jesus' words!

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
~•Matthew 5:43-48

An example how to love your enemy....read about where apostle Stephen was being stoned to death. He prayed for them while being killed! He asked God to not charge them with that sin!

"When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth.
55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
56 and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord;
58 and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
~•Acts 7:54-60

But most important of all is our Jesus who gives us the perfect example of how to love our enemies....when He was dying on the cross He prayed the Father to forgive them for they know not what they do.

"And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.
34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
~•Luke 23:33-34

Then I come on the internet and see Christians' comments on articles and many of them are full of hatred, condemning people to hell! Is that what our Lord Jesus wants from us? That is totally contradicting Jesus' commandments to us. Let us get back to the Bible and pray continuously, for all people, our governments, our loved ones and friends, our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering for their faith in the Lord Jesus, our enemies, therefore we shall be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect, just like Jesus said! God bless you and keep us strong in these evil days to stand for the truth of His word.

Customs

I have been so saddened lately when seeing online how Christians accuse others in Christ of disobedience and punishment in hellfire for having short hair.  I have short hair!  I was the one being accused by another brother in Christ of being disobedient to scripture and that I will be punished for it, basically saying I will go to hell because of my short hair.  No one will know how that made me feel.  It broke my heart.  Here I am, a born again Christian and I always thought that Christ was the one who did it all on the cross to set us free, give us liberty.  My response was that if God was unhappy with my short hair and that I pray to Him with my head uncovered, why has He answered my prayers so many times?  Why has He showered me with His love, comforted me so many times?  I believe it was a custom in Paul's day, that's how they did things then.  He was laying down a guideline for others to do it the same way.  I was told by this Christian that no, it was not a custom and that I am twisting and adding on to the word of God.   Now all this had me very upset.  I cried out to God in prayer about it.  No, I did not cover my head.  Today, after I don't know how many days of asking Him, God leads me in His word to Galatians 5.  One of my favourite books in the Bible. :)   God led me to where Paul talks about circumcision.  The Jewish Christians were trying to drag the Gentile Christians back under the law, under the yoke of slavery, when Christ has set us all free!  So I was reading this and it just became as clear as daylight....women having long hair and having their heads covered when praying, was their custom.  That was how they were used to doing it, how they were accustomed to doing it.  Then Holy Spirit confirmed to me in Galatians 5....that it's not what we do on the outside that matters, it is what Jesus has done for us on the cross and that all we have to do is love God with all our heart, mind and soul and love our neighbour as ourself, meaning love all people, even our enemies! :)  You will never know how much peace I had after this. This does not mean that Paul was wrong!  No, not at all!  That was their custom, it is not a salvation issue!  God led me to Galatians just to show me not to worry so much, to show me that He set us free and that He is not mad at me with my short hair.  It's my heart He cares about.  Please do not take my word for the truth, take this to God in prayer.  This is how I interpret that scripture.  If I am wrong, it is between God and I.  I don't want to lead anyone astray.  I am also just forever learning.
Precious people, enjoy your freedom in Christ, not to sin and indulge the flesh, but just enjoy and do not worry.  Trust in Jesus!  He finished it all for us!  Thank you Jesus for all that you did for us. ♥  Look here what the greek word for custom means in the Concordance:

http://www.biblestudytools.com/lexicons/greek/kjv/sunetheia.html   13 Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her as a covering. 16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, we have no other custom, nor do the churches of God.•~1 Corinthians 11:13-16   1 Christ has liberated us into freedom. Therefore stand firm and don't submit again to a yoke of slavery. 2 Take note! I, Paul, tell you that if you get circumcised, Christ will not benefit you at all. 3 Again I testify to every man who gets circumcised that he is obligated to keep the entire law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace! 5 For by the Spirit we eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness from faith. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.   13 For you are called to freedom, brothers; only don't use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself. •~Galatians 5:1-6, 13-14

False Apostles

The other day I saw how quickly someone gets promoted from prophet to apostle.
It seems nowadays every Tom, Dick and Harry is an apostle, mostly self-appointed.  You shall know them by their fruits!

So this morning God led me to 2 Corinthians 11 where Paul speaks about false apostles.  Then later today God brought my attention back to something I shared yesterday about Revelation 2.
He's just confirming what I think and discern.  God knows our every thought!

We must be vigilant, pray to God for wisdom and discernment in these last days that are so full of deception.  He will give to you liberally without reproach, but you must ask in faith, without doubting.  For if you doubt, don't expect to receive anything from the Lord.

Thank you Jesus my King. † ♥
And when I was present with you, and in need, I was a burden to no one, for what I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied. And in everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will keep myself.
10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows!
12 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
•~2 Corinthians 11:9-15
I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;

Trust in Jesus

Isn't Jesus just wonderful? Jesus preached and Simon heard what He said and Jesus must have made a huge impression on Simon because when Jesus told them to cast the nets in deeper waters, he obeyed. He could have just given up hope, because they already tried, but caught nothing.

Because he was obedient, they caught so much fish that their nets almost tore and their boats almost sank! See how the Lord blesses us when we listen to Him and trust in His word!

Simon was so overwhelmed by Jesus' holiness that he was immediately aware of his own sinfulness. When we are in the presence of Jesus, we become acutely aware of our sinful nature. When he comes to dwell in our hearts, He starts cleaning us up. The Holy Spirit makes us aware of any sin that we must get rid of, anything that grieves Him.

Follow the leading of the still inner voice of God. When we obey Him, he will bless us so abundantly that we will not be able to contain it! Best of all, He promises us eternal life!

Let us tell people about this wonderful God of ours, who loved the world so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that anyone who believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life. God does not want the evil people to perish, He wants them to repent of their sins and believe and trust in Him. Let us speak out about this Jesus. When we obey Him in this, He will bless us to bring many souls to Him and He will clean them up, we just need to tell them!

As the crowd was pressing in on Jesus to hear God's word, He was standing by Lake Gennesaret.
2 He saw two boats at the edge of the lake; the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets.
3 He got into one of the boats, which belonged to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from the land. Then He sat down and was teaching the crowds from the boat.
4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into deep water and let down your nets for a catch."
5 "Master," Simon replied, "we've worked hard all night long and caught nothing! But at Your word, I'll let down the nets."
6 When they did this, they caught a great number of fish, and their nets began to tear.
7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them; they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, because I'm a sinful man, Lord!"
9 For he and all those with him were amazed at the catch of fish they took,
10 and so were James and John, Zebedee's sons, who were Simon's partners. "Don't be afraid," Jesus told Simon. "From now on you will be catching people!"
11 Then they brought the boats to land, left everything, and followed Him.
•~Luke 5:1-11
