SPIT & DUST

I was listening to Christian singer Ri-An's latest song 'Made For More' and the album cover drew my attention. It is a man made of dust/sand rising from the dust. Immediately a thought came to mind of Jesus healing a blind man's eyes with his spit and mud. I was thinking that's how God created us, from the dust and Jesus spit on the ground and made mud to heal the man's eyes. God also knits/forms us in our mother's womb. I started crying at that thought. It came from Jesus. How awesome is our God!

♡🩷♡
Genesis 2:7 CEV
The Lord God took some soil from the ground and made a man. God breathed life into the man, and the man started breathing.

Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
John 9:6-7 CEV
6 After Jesus said this, he spit on the ground. He made some mud and smeared it on the man's eyes.
7 Then he said, “Go wash off the mud in Siloam Pool.” The man went and washed in Siloam, which means “One Who Is Sent.” When he had washed off the mud, he could see.

A Blind Man Healed at Bethsaida
Mark 8:22-26 CEV
22 As Jesus and his disciples were going into Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to him and begged him to touch the man.
23 Jesus took him by the hand and led him out of the village, where he spit into the man's eyes. He placed his hands on the blind man and asked him if he could see anything.
24 The man looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking around.”
25 Once again Jesus placed his hands on the man's eyes, and this time the man stared. His eyes were healed, and he saw everything clearly.
26 Jesus said to him, “You may return home now, but don't go into the village.”

Psalms 139:13 CEV
You are the one who put me together inside my mother's body,

Genesis 3:19 CEV
You will sweat all your life to earn a living;
you were made out of soil, and you will once again turn into soil.

A Weary World Rejoices

Holy Jesus, only begotten Son of God, the Word of God who manifested in the flesh, is God's gift from above to a world in need of a Saviour. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Jesus Christ brought light into the world and into our hearts. We ought to rejoice for what God has done for this wicked world and wretched sinners because God loves us. Jesus is the Light of the world, the Alpha and Omega, the I AM, our Saviour. Blessed be His holy name. Rejoice! Be glad! There is hope for sinners who repent.

God bless all who read here in Lord Jesus' blessed, holy name.

♡🩷♡
Matthew 11:28–30 ESV
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified,

A True Jew

 ♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

A True Jew

If you are Christ’s,
then you are Abraham’s seed,
and heirs according to the promise

πŸ”ΉRomans 2:29 NKJV
He is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

♡🩷♡
1 Corinthians 7:19 NKJV
Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.

Romans 2:27-29 NKJV
27 And will not the physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law?
28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh;
29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Romans 4:12-14 NKJV
12 and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised.

The Promise Granted Through Faith

13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,

Romans 8:17 NKJV
and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Romans 9:4-8 NKJV
 4 who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;
5 of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.

Israel’s Rejection and God’s Purpose

6 But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel,
7 nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.”
8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

Galatians 6:16 NKJV
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

πŸ”ΉπŸ”ΉGenesis 12:3 NKJV
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Genesis 18:18 NKJV
since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Galatians 3:7 NKJV
Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

Galatians 3:27-29 NKJV
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Revelation 2:9 NKJV [Jesus Christ (Messiah) speaking to the Persecuted Church]
“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9 NKJV [Jesus Christ (Messiah) speaking to the Faithful Church]
Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lieindeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

πŸ”ΉπŸ”ΉπŸ”Ή1 Corinthians 10:18 NKJV
Observe Israel after the flesh: Are not those who eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

Jeremiah 4:4 NKJV
Circumcise yourselves to the Lord,
And take away the foreskins of your hearts,
You men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem,
Lest My fury come forth like fire,
And burn so that no one can quench it,
Because of the evil of your doings.”

Deuteronomy 30:6 NKJV
And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

1 Samuel 16:7 NKJV
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Ephesians 4:4-6 NKJV
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

God’s Israel today is not that nation in Palestine called by that name, but His people who live by faith in Him and His Son Jesus Christ.

And circumcision is that of the heart -- That is, that circumcision which is acceptable to God and it is attended with holiness of heart; with the cutting off of sins; and with a pure life. Jeremiah 4:4; Deuteronomy 30:6.

Christian Freedom in Practice

Colossians 2:16-18 NLT
¹⁶ So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.
¹⁷ For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality.
¹⁸ Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self-denial or the worship of angels, saying they have had visions about these things. Their sinful minds have made them proud,..."

Hebrews 8:5 NLT
They serve in a system of worship that is only a •copy, a •shadow of the real one in heaven. For when Moses was getting ready to build the Tabernacle, God gave him this warning: “Be sure that you make everything according to the •pattern I have shown you here on the mountain.”

Hebrews 10:1Βͺ NLT
The old system under the law of Moses was only a •shadow, a •dim preview of the good things to come, •not the good things themselves.

Galatians 5:1 NLT
So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.

Galatians 5:4 NLT
For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.

Galatians 5:16, 18 NLT
¹⁶ So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
¹⁸ But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.

Galatians 4:31 NLT
So, dear brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman; we are children of the free woman.

《"In view of the freedom that Christ has won for them, the Colossian believers must not listen to those who try to force them to obey the rules and regulations of the Israelite law. Practices taught in the law may be compared to shadows. They are not solid or permanent, but their existence enables the viewer to know that there is some real object that casts the shadows. That real object is Jesus Christ. Now that he has come, the shadows are of no further interest. Christian life and growth come from God through a direct relationship between the believer and Christ."》

Faith in Christ

♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

The Law & Faith in Christ

Galatians 3:2-16 NLT
[2] Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit by obeying the law of Moses? Of course not! You received the Spirit because you believed the message you heard about Christ.
[3] How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?
[4] Have you experienced so much for nothing? Surely it was not in vain, was it?
[5] I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
[6] In the same way, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”
[7]♡ The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God.
[8] What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, “All nations will be blessed through you.”
[9] So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.
[10] But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”
[11]🩷So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
[12] This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”
[13] But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
[14] Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.
[15] Dear brothers and sisters, here’s an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or amend an irrevocable agreement, so it is in this case.
[16] God gave the promises to Abraham and his child. And notice that the Scripture doesn’t say “to his children,” as if it meant many descendants. Rather, it says “to his child”—and that, of course, means Christ.

♡🩷♡
Habakkuk 2:4 NLT
“Look at the proud!
They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked.
♡ But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.

Romans 1:17 NLT
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by ♡faith. As the Scriptures say,
♡ “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

Hebrews 10:37-38 NLT
37 “For in just a little while,
the Coming One will come and not delay.
38 And ♡my righteous ones will live by faith.
But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”

Have Faith & Peace in Christ Jesus
as You Do His will.πŸ•Š

Silver Lining

Jesus is our silver lining. Always be focused on the good, if there is any, in all circumstances.

Philippians 4:8 NLT
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

♡🩷♡
Ephesians 4:25
So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body.

2 Corinthians 8:21
We are careful to be honorable before the Lord, but we also want everyone else to see that we are honorable.

Deuteronomy 16:20
Let true justice prevail, so you may live and occupy the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

1 Thessalonians 5:22
Stay away from every kind of evil.

James 3:17
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
⁴ Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud ⁵ or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. ⁶ It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. ⁷Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Clay Jars

♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

Treasure in Fragile Clay Jars

2 Corinthians 4:1-18 NLT
[1] Therefore, since God in his mercy has given us this new way, we never give up.
[2] We reject all shameful deeds and underhanded methods. We don’t try to trick anyone or distort the word of God. We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know this.
[3] If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing.
[4] Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
[5] You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake.
[6] For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
[7] We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
[8] We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.
[9] We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.
[10] Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.
[11] Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies.
[12] So we live in the face of death, but this has resulted in eternal life for you.
[13] But we continue to preach because we have the same kind of faith the psalmist had when he said, “I believed in God, so I spoke.”
[14] We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you.
[15] All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.
[16] That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.
[17] For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
[18] So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

1 Peter 2:9 NKJV
You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Not Tricked

 ♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

♥︎Not Influenced, Not Tricked with Lies

Ephesians 4:10-16 NLT
¹⁰ And the same one who descended is the one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that he might fill the entire universe with himself.
¹¹ Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
¹² Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
¹³ This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
¹⁴ Then we will no longer be immature like children. ♥︎We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. ♥︎We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.
¹⁵ Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
¹⁶ He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children.
They will thrive like watered grass, like willows on a riverbank.

Joel 2:23
Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem!
Rejoice in the Lord your God!
For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness.
Once more the autumn rains will come,
as well as the rains of spring.

Moving Shadows

 ♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡
Moving Shadows
Psalms 39:6-7 NLT
We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.
And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.

♡🩷♡
Psalms 49:10 NLT
Those who are wise must finally die, just like the foolish and senseless, leaving all their wealth behind.

Ecclesiastes 2:18-19 NLT
¹⁸ I came to hate all my hard work here on earth, for I must leave to others everything I have earned.
¹⁹ And who can tell whether my successors will be wise or foolish? Yet they will control everything I have gained by my skill and hard work under the sun. How meaningless!

Luke 12:20 NLT
“But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’

1 Corinthians 7:31 NLT
Those who use the things of the world should not become attached to them. For this world as we know it will soon pass away.

God of Compassion

♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

God our Abba Father
God of Compassion

Psalms 103:13-16 NLT
¹³ The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
¹⁴ For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.
¹⁵ Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
¹⁶ The wind blows, and we are goneas though we had never been here.

♡🩷♡
Malachi 3:17 NLT
“They will be my people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child.

Isaiah 40:6-8 NLT
A voice said, “Shout!” I asked, “What should I shout?” “Shout that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field.
The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people.
The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.

James 1:9-11 NLT
Believers who are poor have something to boast about, for God has honored them.
¹⁰ And those who are rich should boast that God has humbled them. They will fade away like a little flower in the field.
¹¹ The hot sun rises and the grass withers; the little flower droops and falls, and its beauty fades away. In the same way, the rich will fade away with all of their achievements.

1 Peter 1:24 NLT
As the Scriptures say, “People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades.

Job 7:9-10 NLT
Just as a cloud dissipates and vanishes, those who die will not come back.
¹⁰ They are gone forever from their home— never to be seen again.

πŸ•ŠA BlessingπŸ•Š

May God watch over you and His lamp
shine upon your head and may you,
by His light walk through darkness.
May the friendly counsel of God

May the Almighty be with you.
May your steps be bathed with cream and
the rock pour out rivers of oil for you!
In the blessed name of our Lord Jesus, Amen.

Job 29:2-6 NKJV
² “Oh, that I were as in months past, As in the days when God watched over me;
³ When His lamp shone upon my head, And  when by His light I walked through darkness;

When the Almighty was yet with me, When my children were around me;
When my steps were bathed with cream, And the rock poured out rivers of oil for me!

Sorrow

 ♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

Sorrow

Ecclesiastes 7:2-4 NLT
² Better to spend your time at funerals than at parties.
    After all, everyone dies
so the living should take this to heart.
³ Sorrow is better than laughter,
for sadness has a refining influence on us.
A wise person thinks a lot about death,
while a fool thinks only about having a good time.

♡🩷♡
Psalm 90:12
Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom.

2 Corinthians 7:10
For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.

2 Samuel 12:13
Then David confessed to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.”

Nathan replied, “Yes, but the Lord has forgiven you, and you won’t die for this sin.

Psalm 32:10
Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord.

Matthew 26:75
Suddenly, Jesus’ words flashed through Peter’s mind: “Before the rooster crows, you will deny three times that you even know me.” And he went away, weeping bitterly.

The Kingdom of God

Mark 4:30-32 NKJV
30 Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it?
31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth;
32 but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”

♡🩷♡
© Fleming, Donald C. "Commentary on Mark 4:32":
"The parable of the mustard seed foretells the expansion of the kingdom, as seen in the remarkable growth of the church. From small beginnings it grows to a vast community that covers the entire earth (Matthew 13:31-32)."

Believers & The World

 ♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

No Unity Between Believers and The World

There can never be unity between Christians and the world because we are not of this world even as our Lord Jesus Christ is not of this world.
Yet I see Christians agreeing with the world who do not believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, that "we are all brothers and sisters, no matter the religion".

As the body of Christ we are one, just as the Father is in Jesus His only begotten Son and Jesus in Him and they are one, we are also one as the Father and the Son is one: that the world may believe that the Father has sent Jesus. The Father loves us as He loves Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

Jesus came from above and is above all. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in His hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them.

A man’s enemies will be those of his own household because of Jesus.

We are in this world but not of it.

♡🩷♡
Philippians 3:18 NKJV
For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Jude 1:4-7 NKJV
4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;
7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 NKJV
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous,
And he who is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.

John 17:21-23 NKJV
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

John 3:31 NKJV
He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

John 17:11, 14–15 NKJV
11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.

Matthew 10:34-36 NKJV
Christ Brings Division
34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
35 For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’;
36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’

Romans 12:9-21 NKJV
Behave Like a Christian
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.

10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
20 Therefore

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Revelation 2:14, 16-17 NKJV
The Compromising Church
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’

Looking Unto Jesus

🎡"My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness:
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name."
🎡
(Hymn: 'My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less')

Hebrews 12:2 NKJV
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

♡🩷♡
Luke 24:26
“Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?”

Psalm 69:7,19
Because for Your sake I have borne reproach;
Shame has covered my face.
You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor; My adversaries are all before You.

Philippians. 2:8
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Hebrews. 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

Psalm 110:1
The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

"Looking unto Jesus — αφορωντΡς. Looking off and on, or from and to; looking off or from the world and all secular concerns to Jesus and all the spiritual and heavenly things connected with him. This is still an allusion to the Grecian games: those who ran were to keep their eyes fixed on the mark of the prize; they must keep the goal in view. The exhortation implies, 1. That they should place all their hope and confidence in Christ, as their sole helper in this race of faith. 2. That they should consider him their leader in this contest and imitate his example."

² Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— For your love is better than wine.
³ Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.
Draw me away!  We will run after you.  The king has brought me into his chambers.  We will be glad and rejoice in you. We will remember your love more than wine.  Rightly do they love you.

Matthew 25:6-13 NKJV
⁶ “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
⁷ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
⁸ And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
⁹ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
¹¹ “Afterward the other [foolish] virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’

Vileness is Exalted

I write this regarding the racist utterance of a political party's councillor in our South African parliament, about the minority 'white' Afrikaners, in our country.

____________________________

Willie Aucamp, the DA’s national spokesperson, said:
“The councillor’s statement, expressing a desire to ‘m*er a boer’ and his utterance that he ‘wants the blood of an Afrikaner’, is a blatant display of hate speech and racism that has no place in our democratic society.

“The EFF is a party of hatred and chaos. They are the ‘breakers’ that seek to sow division and incite violence, undermining the values of unity and respect that our nation is built upon.”

See the few seconds clip in this video where the councillor is spewing his vileness in parliament. That's all their party brings to the table, hatred and racism against the minority in this country. (The Democratic Alliance also brought criminal charges against the racist councillor.) I hope and pray that justice shall prevail. Pray with us please, whoever reads here.πŸ™πŸ•Š️

Vileness is Exalted

Psalms 12:1-8 NIV

[1] Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.

[2] Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts

[3] May the Lord silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue—

[4] those who say, “By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”

[5] “Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord. “I will protect them from those who malign them.”

[6] And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.

[7] You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked,

[8] who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race.

Philippians 4:13
Christ gives me the strength to face anything.

Romans 12:2
Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.

Renew your mind by finding hope in God’s Word.

Prayer:
"Lord, thank you for giving me strength to face all conditions—including anxiety. I pray that whenever I feel anxiety creeping in, I will find strength in the truths in your Word. May your words fill me with hope in anxious moments. May they shine light in the darkness of fear and sorrow. And may their truths chase away every lie, every thought that isn’t from you. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen."

Break Anxiety's Grip

♡~•~♡~•~πŸ©·πŸ„ΉπŸ„΄πŸ…‚πŸ…„πŸ…‚πŸ©·~•~♡~•~♡

Break Anxiety's Grip

Uncover the sources of your anxiety

Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV
²³ Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
²⁴ in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Luke 17:5-6 NKJV
And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Do you have trust issues with God? Do you believe that He loves you and will help you when you pray and ask Him? You must pray in faith and where you lack faith, ask God to increase your faith.

Stop being afraid of fear
Faith overcomes fear.
Trust God and overcome your fear.

II Timothy 1:7 NKJV
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Ask God to renew your mind

Philippians 4:6-8 NKJV
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are  lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there  is any virtue and if there  is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Colossians 3:2 NKJV
² Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
¹⁰ Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Psalms 4:8 NKJV
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Joshua 1:9 NKJV
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Be strengthened by God's word.

Offer up your prayers and requests to God

I Peter 5:7 NKJV
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Talk to God about your fears. He surely will help you overcome them by His Spirit when you give your concerns to Jesus, your Prince of Peace and He will give you His perfect peace.πŸ•ŠπŸ©·

Psalms 121:1-8 NKJV
¹ I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help?
² My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
³ He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
⁴ Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
⁵ The Lord  is your keeper; The Lord  is  your shade at your right hand.
⁶ The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.

Matthew 6:25-34 CEV‬
[25] I tell you not to worry about your life. Don't worry about having something to eat, drink, or wear. Isn't life more than food or clothing?
[26] Look at the birds in the sky! They don't plant or harvest. They don't even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them. Aren't you worth much more than birds?
[27] Can worry make you live longer?
[28] Why worry about clothes? Look how the wild flowers grow. They don't work hard to make their clothes.
[29]  But I tell you that Solomon with all his wealth wasn't as well clothed as one of them.
[30] God gives such beauty to everything that grows in the fields, even though it is here today and thrown into a fire tomorrow. God will surely do even more for you! Why do you have such little faith?
[31] Don't worry and ask yourselves, “Will we have anything to eat? Will we have anything to drink? Will we have any clothes to wear?”
[32] Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows you need all of these.
[33] But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will
be yours as well.
[34] Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today.

Jesus Can Calm the
Storm Within You

Psalms 62:5-8 CEV‬
⁵ Only God gives inward peace, and I depend on him.
⁶ God alone is the mighty rock that keeps me safe, and he is the fortress where I feel secure.
⁷ God saves me and honors me. He is that mighty rock where I find safety.
⁸ Trust God, my friends, and always tell him each of your concerns. God is our place of safety.

Anxiety
The Battle & Rescue
Calm Me Down Jesus

A Prayer for Help
(A special Psalm and a prayer by David when he was in the cave)
Psalms 142:1-7 CEV‬
¹  I pray to you, Lord. I beg for mercy.
² I tell you all my worries and my troubles,
³ and whenever I feel low, you are there to guide me. A trap has been hidden along my pathway.
⁴ Even if you look, you won't see anyone who cares enough to walk beside me. There is no place to hide, and no one who really cares.
⁵ I pray to you, Lord! You are my place of safety, and you are my choice in the land of the living. Please answer my prayer. I am completely helpless.
⁶ Help! They are chasing me, and they are too strong.
⁷ Rescue me from this prison, so I can praise your name. And when your people notice your wonderful kindness to me, they will rush to my side.

John 14:27 CEV‬
²⁷ I give you peace, the kind of peace only I can give. It isn't like the peace this world can give. So don't be worried or afraid.
