Blessed New Year 2025

Blessed New Year
2025 in Jesus

Embracing a Christ-Centered Start

As we step into the New Year 2025, it is a time of reflection and renewal. This year, let's embrace the profound calling to love people as Jesus Christ taught us. In a world often marked by division, loving people is not only a command but a transformative action that can change lives, including our own.

Loving people begins with understanding and empathy. It's about seeing beyond differences and recognizing the inherent worth in every individual. This New Year, consider practical ways to implement this love in your daily life. Start by listening more intently to others, offering a helping hand to those in need, and forgiving past grievances. By doing so, we honor the biblical call to "bear one another's burdens," as noted in Galatians 6:2. This act not only strengthens our communities but also brings us closer to the essence of Jesus' teachings.

As we navigate 2025, let's ponder these questions: How can we better love those around us? What burdens can we help lift in our communities? By reflecting on these, we can truly make this year a blessed one in Jesus, filled with compassion and love for all.

Be ye Holy

This morning God led me to 1 Peter 3. I've been in tears about the attitude of Christians toward one another online.  The name-calling, the insults, the lack of love, it is shocking.  Yes I am speaking of Christians, because that's what they claim to be.  To think we are accused of being holy.  Do we so easily forget that God calls us to be holy?

What must the world think about Christians when we carry on like that?  May God have mercy on the Body of Christ and forgive us and lead us to repent from this.  Bless your HOLY name Jesus, may we be an example of Christ in us, even online!  Help me Jesus, to always keep this in mind!
We must never forget to be holy, because God tells us to be Holy because He is holy.

8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;
9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
10 For "He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.
11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
13 And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled."
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
16 having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.
