The Fragrance of Christ

God bless you beloved. Yes we are the beloved of God and He is ours!  Oh aren't those two verses in Song of Songs beautiful?
It is written in 2 Corinthians 2:15 that we are the fragrance of Christ to God, among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life.
This is why we are hated so much.
When we proclaim the Good News to them, we are spreading the fragrance of Christ. To the one the fragrance of death, to the other the fragrance of life.
Jesus is an aroma of myrrh, aloes & cassia (Ps 45:9) and Jesus as an offering and sacrifice to God, was a sweet-smelling aroma and acceptable unto God. (Eph. 5:2)
So let us walk in love as Jesus loves us and spread this lovely fragrance of the Good News everywhere we go. It is acceptable unto God. ✝️

Forsakers of Christ shall be consumed

Blessed day to you dear people.🤗💞
As long as we continue in faith, do the will of our Father in heaven, abide in Christ, God is able to make His servants stand!
Lately I see so many unbelievers claim that they "used to be Christians".
Look what the word of God says about those who forsake the Lord! They shall be consumed! That reminds me of our God who is a consuming fire!🔥
It is impossible to renew them again unto repentance for they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put Him to an open shame.😢
They do not live by faith anymore, they now live in wilful sin and therefore there is no more sacrifice for their sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
As per Hebrews 6 & 10.

Glory to God alone, the righteous of the heavenly Zion who trust in Jesus Christ, are redeemed with justice and our repentance with righteousness!
Stand strong warriors of faith as you contend for the faith under trials, even unto death, to win the race to receive the prize, the crown of life!✝️💞🕊️

Live holy, Jesus is coming back

Good day to you precious people. May God our heavenly Father bless you today in everything you do. May everything we do and say and think be acceptable in His sight.
Let us meditate on whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are  just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are  lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there  is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Let us live holy lives, because the Lord our God is coming back and He is coming back for a glorious church without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish.
Stay away from every form of evil.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify us completely; and may our whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He who calls us is faithful, who also will do it!
Halleluyah! Thank you Father!

Serve one another

Jesus came to serve others, to give His life for us. We are to live our lives for Him by serving others, by bearing one another's burdens.  That is true love, selfless love. For everything we do for/to others, we are doing for/to Jesus and He will reward us in heaven one day.
God bless you.

God of hope

Greetings to you in Jesus' blessed Name saints of God.

A while back, in a comment on a local news article, a woman said that we have no hope in our country and that even God has lost all hope in our country South Africa.  That is not true.  Why would God lose hope when He is the God of hope?!
Jesus is our hope, the foundation of our hope and in believing, He fills us with all joy and peace so that by the power of the Holy Spirit we may abound in hope!
What hope is that?  The hope of righteousness by faith (Gal. 5:5) which we heard in the truth of the gospel  (Col. 1:5) and our hope of our inheritance of eternal life in heaven with God because the Holy Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.  What great hope we have!
What kind of faith speaks of no hope in God to heal our country?  That is unbelief!  We have to pray for our country and believe God and trust God to do a work in our country, in the hearts of the people, for His glory alone.  He shall do it!  God wants our faith.  He does not work without faith.  It is impossible to please God without faith.
Someone who speaks in such hopelessness and unbelief is not praying for our country in faith.
Is anything impossible for God?  No, nothing is impossible for God.  So we have hope for this nation of ours and you for yours, whichever country you are in.
God has not forgotten us and He never will.
The Lord longs to be gracious to us;
therefore He will rise up to show us compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for Him!

(Isaiah 30:18)  [In faith!:)]
Be blessed in Jesus' Name.  Have a happy day. #KeepPraying #NeverLoseHope #JesusIsLORD

God's signet ring

The Church ~ God's Signet Ring

Beloved of God, I greet you in the Name of our Lord Jesus. (Rom. 9:25)🤗💞

My message is from Haggai. Seeing as we are going through a drought in Cape Town, it is a very apt message. In Haggai the Lord punished >>His people<< with a drought because they were neglecting to rebuild His temple that was in ruins, but they were very busy fixing and beautifying their homes.
In those days God's presence was with them in His temple.
God also accused His people of being defiled.

So I was thinking how can I apply this to today and our drought and it came to me that today the Lord is not concerned about temples built with hands, but with us, His body, the living stones whose bodies are His temple. What are we neglecting?

We are so busy with ourselves and our own lives. Our focus is on uplifting ourselves, making life better for ourselves and in our busyness, we may neglect to do what Jesus commands us to do.

We are to uplift others, the poor, our own families, to lend a helping hand, to encourage, to bear one another's burdens. To use our own resources and money to help others, but sadly many believers in Christ do not, they only focus on self, building our own kingdom, not a care about others and the troubles they are going through.

But there is good news even though the Lord our God punished His people with a drought, He also encourages them. It is written in Haggai that the Lord stirred up His people to start rebuilding His house. The Lord also promised His people to be strong, that He is with them, that His Spirit will remain among them, that they are not to fear. (They were afraid when prophet Haggai told them what the Lord said regarding His temple in ruins and that they are doing nothing to rebuild it.)

So let us as the body of Christ have willing hands to do the work of God for He works through people. God's Spirit is not in a building anymore, but IN US and He will not leave us to our own devices when we cry out to Him to help us, to show us the way, to provide for us so that we can be a blessing to others. His Spirit will stir us up and strengthen us to do what is required, He will bless us with all we need to do His will. He only requires faith, obedience and willing hands. We have a task to make His presence visible in this world that we live in.
God refers to Zerubbabel as His signet ring, for He has chosen Zerubbabel. We are God's chosen and we are His signet ring! So let us as His signet ring make His mark in this world.

May this drought be a wake-up call to the Christians in Cape Town, but also the church all over the world, that we are to be about our Father's business and do what Jesus commands us to do. Clearly, God is not happy with many of the things that we as the church are doing and neglecting to do and it is clear from Revelation in the letters to the 7 churches, the dead church, the lukewarm church, the corrupt church, the compromising church, the loveless church. The persecuted church and the faithful church are the only ones not warned by Lord Jesus to repent.
And through all the letters, apart from warning them to repent or else, the Lord also praise the good things they do and encourages them. So do not fear, but let us repent of any sin in our lives and from neglecting to do what Jesus commands us to do. God bless His church.
