Heavens like bronze

Sunday 24th September 2017 I had a dream and in the dream the sky is a lovely soft blue colour as always, but I notice the 'texture' of the sky looks solid like rock.  There is much more to the dream but for now I am only focusing on this part.
And just the other day on Monday, 29th of January 2018 I was again reading through my notes where I wrote down the dream and it came to me that somewhere in the Bible is written about the heaven hard as rock or something to that effect.  So I searched and lo and behold, look what I found.
It is symbolic of drought.
And until the other day I had no idea what it meant, "sky solid like rock".  I do believe the Holy Spirit brought it to my mind.  Please read this:

And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron.
Deuteronomy 28:23

I will break the pride of your power;
I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.
Leviticus 26:19

Western Cape drought

Western Cape drought

Trusting God, waiting on Him

All thoughout this drought of ours when I cry out to God, talk to Him about it, He always takes me to Scripture regarding drought.  And I rejoice, because He has brought me to Scriptures a few times where it says that He gives the rain.  I know God will eventually come through for us.  He is a good, merciful God.

Look at this Scripture....GOD commands the clouds that they rain no rain on us.  I just hope and pray our local government will mention God in all their efforts of running to and fro planning for more water.  No acknowledgement from them about God.

And this whole drought has become a political game. God cannot be blamed even though He brings the drought because our national government and our Western Cape provincial government had a warning of a coming shortage years ago already, but they did nothing to prepare.

Everywhere we see new building projects going on but nothing is being done to prepare for the growing burden on our water infrastructure.  Now they are rushing around extracting underground water, building 3 small desalination plants, whereas they could have started on big ones years ago, but always claim there is no money, but the Department of Water and Sanitation spend hundreds of millions on a new building recently for new offices.  Mismanagement is to blame and hunger for power!

So we wait on God and His perfect timing and I for one, trust only in Jesus because as we see, people will always disappoint us.  And it is not as if we did not get any rain at all.  We did.  And I praise Him and thank Him for every drop!👐💕

I will really appreciate your on-going prayers regarding our drought.  Please pray God for wisdom for the government and for unity of the people, for a house divided cannot stand, even the political house and of course please pray for abundance of rain, to break our drought.  Thank you and God bless you always.🙏💕🕊️

God Will Supply

There was a drought and a famine in Israel.  It was punishment because of king Ahab committing more evil than all who were before him.

So God sent Elijah to Ahab to tell him about this.  Then God sent Elijah to hide from persecution at a brook where He said He would send ravens to feed Elijah.  Well because of the drought, the brook dried up.  So God sent Elijah to another place where God had commanded a widow to provide for Elijah.
Elijah asked the widow for some water and as she was about to get it, he asked her for some bread, but she did not have any bread.  She was actually getting ready to die with her son because she was about to use the last flour and oil that she had and then they had nothing, so they were going to die.

So Elijah told her not to fear, but to bake him a small cake and bring to him and then to make for her and her son for God said that the bin of flour shall not be used up and the jar of oil shall not run dry until the Lord let it rain again!  Everything happened according to the word which the Lord spoke.

Then the woman's son became deathly ill and he died.  Elijah cried out to God and God brought him back to life.

This just shows how our God provides for us, our Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider!  We can see Elijah's obedience to God, his trust in God.  There was a drought!  God provided him with water.  There was a famine and God provided him food in a miraculous way!  There was death, God gave life!  Our God is so awesome, so loving, so kind to His faithful ones.

Let us never forget to remain true to God and trust in Him no matter what our situation may be.  God always has a plan and He will supply all our needs.  Look how He clothes the flowers in the field, He feeds the birds of the air.  You are much more valuable than they are!

6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.  14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: 'The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.' "  21 And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said, "O Lord my God, I pray, let this child's soul come back to him." 22 Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived. •~1 Kings 17:6,14,21-22
