Sky high

R20000 water bill

Devil thought he could upset us. I had a dream about a tall mountain last year. Could mean hard times to overcome. God already removed one mountain! We were told to take a reading of the water meter and lo and behold, the guy made an error with the reading. We'll be getting a new account. Thank you JESUS.

We are within our daily water allowance!

But you know, God has a way of preparing you for something. Just a few days ago on one of the water pages on FB, a woman commented that she got a R20000 water bill. I felt so sorry for her and thought I don't know what I would do if that happened to us. Also a Scripture grabbed my attention yesterday where Jesus gave His disciples authority over all the power of the enemy! And today when William told me, the peace of God was in my heart. I was not in the least bit upset. I actually found it quite funny because I knew it was a mistake and the enemy of our souls putting another mountain in our way, trying to rob us of our peace and faith. We immediately knew to pray and I told that mountain to be lifted up and thrown into the sea in the Name of JESUS! William went back to the municipality to give the new reading. They acknowledged it was a mistake and we'll be getting a new bill.

Jesus came through for us again.
MOUNTAIN #2 REMOVED!

There is POWER in the Name of Jesus

Western Cape drought

Western Cape drought

Trusting God, waiting on Him

All thoughout this drought of ours when I cry out to God, talk to Him about it, He always takes me to Scripture regarding drought.  And I rejoice, because He has brought me to Scriptures a few times where it says that He gives the rain.  I know God will eventually come through for us.  He is a good, merciful God.

Look at this Scripture....GOD commands the clouds that they rain no rain on us.  I just hope and pray our local government will mention God in all their efforts of running to and fro planning for more water.  No acknowledgement from them about God.

And this whole drought has become a political game. God cannot be blamed even though He brings the drought because our national government and our Western Cape provincial government had a warning of a coming shortage years ago already, but they did nothing to prepare.

Everywhere we see new building projects going on but nothing is being done to prepare for the growing burden on our water infrastructure.  Now they are rushing around extracting underground water, building 3 small desalination plants, whereas they could have started on big ones years ago, but always claim there is no money, but the Department of Water and Sanitation spend hundreds of millions on a new building recently for new offices.  Mismanagement is to blame and hunger for power!

So we wait on God and His perfect timing and I for one, trust only in Jesus because as we see, people will always disappoint us.  And it is not as if we did not get any rain at all.  We did.  And I praise Him and thank Him for every drop!πŸ‘πŸ’•

I will really appreciate your on-going prayers regarding our drought.  Please pray God for wisdom for the government and for unity of the people, for a house divided cannot stand, even the political house and of course please pray for abundance of rain, to break our drought.  Thank you and God bless you always.πŸ™πŸ’•πŸ•Š️

By Your favour

Our security is in the favour of God alone!

Mountain is symbolic of God's favour

"He speaks of himself as having, through the favor of God, put himself into a strong position - a position where he feared no enemy and no change; where he thought himself entirely secure - the state of "prosperity" to which he had referred in the previous verse. In that state, however, God showed him that there was no real security but in his favor: security not in what a man can draw around himself, but in the favor of God alone."

Bear fruit or be called Loammi

We must all as children of God, as Christians, bear fruit worthy of repentance.  If we do not bear fruit, the Lord of the vineyard will cut us down and we will only be good for the fire.  The Lord will symbolically say of us that we are 'Loammi', a Hebrew word which means "not my people".

If we are not bearing fruit, we are living in sin.  It is written that living in sin, wilful sin, is the sin unto death.  We are not even to pray for someone who is in wilful sin.

So let us take heed to our Lord Jesus' words and abide in Him and we shall bear much fruit and He will say of us, these are "Ammi", "my people"!  Halleluyah! :)♥

Go down the rows of the vineyards and destroy the grapevines,
    leaving a scattered few alive.
Strip the branches from the vines,
for these people do not belong to the Lord.
Jeremiah 5:10

And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Matthew 3:10

Encouragement for you

Good morning everyone of you precious people!πŸ€—Yes you are precious to God!  I want to tell you that God is so true to His word!  Today I read this Scripture in the picture and I had such joy because I was reminded of just the other day when I had the symptom of flu starting in my body, achy body all over and I take care of my sick Ma and I asked the Lord to please be merciful to me and take the flu from me because I need my strength to take care of Ma.  He took it from me.  He answered my prayer.
Now look at this Scripture, He who takes care of the weak, "the Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness"!  Isn't our God awesome?!
Directly translated from my Afrikaans translation it says "he who takes care of the weak".
So take heart if you are taking care of someone who is sick, the Lord will sustain you and restore you if you should get sick. Just ask Him!
Someone might say but why does He not restore the one you're taking care of.  I do not know, God only knows.  Because I do pray for healing for her, and the Lord is very kind to her, He does not heal her of Alzheimer's, but He gives her strength and sometimes a little clarity of mind that she is able to laugh with us, small things that I notice how the Lord blesses her.
But I pray everyday for THIS day, for strength for me and my Ma, because I do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow has enough of its own troubles.
Have a lovely day and never forget when trouble comes your way, hard times, sickness, ask your heavely Father to help you!  He wants to help us.  We only need to ask in faith.
(A follower of a famous American church told me one time on Youtube in the comments section, when I asked why do we never see Alzheimer's patients healed in their ministries and I was told to pray for my Ma and if there is no healing it may be that I do not have enough faith.)  That really hurt, because I always pray in faith.  But I also know that God does not always heal!  If God should be healing everyone all the time, then none of us will ever die!  So I may pray in faith, but it is all in God's hands and I accept when God does not heal.  I do not get angry because I know that whatever God does or does not do, His will is good and right!  He does as HE pleases and I am good with that because I know I worship a GOOD GOD!  God bless you. Be blessed and encouraged by this Scripture.♥πŸ•Š️🌹

Seek the Lord

Many refuse to come to Christ and to seek His mercy and forgiveness, that they may live. God's wrath will be poured out on them. Let us not make an idol of the world, for it cannot protect us. Only Jesus can.
Have a blessed day in the Lord. He is with you, He alone protects you, not your weapons. Trust only in the Name of the Lord your God! #Jesus

Blessed are the forgiven

Halleluyah!
In Hebrews 9:22 it is written that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for our sins.
And the blood of JESUS was that atoning blood shed for your sins and mine. If you believe that, His crucifixion and His resurrection from the dead and #repent and you believe that JESUSisLORD, then YOU shall be saved.
Jesus saves us from the condemnation of our sins. He heals us from our sin sickness. Only Jesus can do that.
Romans 8:1 also says that when you believe, there is now no condemnation for you who are in Christ Jesus, you who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Halleluyah! Blessed are those whose sins are covered.
Thank you Jesus, thank you for what you did on the cross at Calvary, thank you for conquering death for us to give us who believe, eternal life with you, thank you Lord.✝️
God bless you today in Jesus' precious Holy Name. Amen.
