Evergreen

There are apostles and prophets in America who started a prayer movement.  On their banner is an evergreen tree.

So I see some Christians coming against them because they use the evergreen tree as a symbol.  These Christians describe the evergreen as a phallic and pagan symbol.

For those calling the evergreen tree a "phallic/pagan symbol"....In Isaiah God says that He will decorate His sanctuary with cypress, fir and pine trees (evergreen)! Evergreen trees were created by Almighty God. It does not belong to the pagans, just as the rainbow does not belong to the LGBT movement. It belongs to God who created it. :D

The glory of Lebanon will be yours—
the forests of cypress, fir, and pine—
to beautify my sanctuary.
My Temple will be glorious!"
~•Isaiah 60:13
:)

How can there be anything wrong with a prayer movement? The only one scared of a prayer movement and who would want to stop it, is the devil and his minions! o_O
Don't stand in God's way!

The Anointing

When God sent Ananias to lay hands on Saul, he was anointed to preach the gospel! When he started preaching in the synagogues, telling people that Jesus is the Son of God, everyone who heard him was amazed! :)
And notice how Jesus said Saul will suffer for the sake of His Name, not that he would become stinking rich and be a prosperity preacher.

Sins of ancestors

A prophetess claims that we should repent and seek forgiveness for the sins of our ancestors.  Really?
And she uses these verses in 1 Peter 1 to try and justify what she says:
knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
~•1 Peter 1:18-19
I don't understand why she uses that verse to try to convince us to repent and seek forgiveness for the sins of our ancestors.

John Gill's commentary regarding "your aimless conduct received by the tradition from your fathers" reads as follows:
meaning not the corruption of nature, which is propagated from father to son by natural generation, and lies in the vanity of the mind, and is the spring and source of an evil conversation; though the saints, as they are redeemed from all sin, so from this, that it shall not be their condemnation; not Gentilism, which lay in vain philosophy, in idolatry and superstition, and in evil and wicked conversation, encouraged by the example of their ancestors; but Judaism, and either regards the ceremonial law, which was delivered by Moses to the Jewish fathers, and by them handed down to their posterity; and which was vain, as used and abused by them, and was unprofitable to obtain righteousness, life, and salvation by, and therefore was disannulled by Christ, who has redeemed and delivered his people from this yoke of bondage; or rather the traditions of the elders, which our Lord inveighs against, ( Matthew 15:3 ) &c. and the Apostle Paul was brought up in, and zealous of, before conversion, ( Galatians 1:14 ) as the Pharisees were. These were the inventions and decrees of them they called (twba) , "fathers", to whose dogmas and decisions they paid the utmost respect.
No!  Jesus became cursed on the cross in my place.  I need only confess and repent and seek forgiveness for my OWN sins, not those of my ancestors!
The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.
~•Ezekiel 18:20

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
~•2 Corinthians 5:21

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
~•Galatians 3:13-14
Please read the Bible so that you can discern the false from the truth.  Don't hang on the words of false prophets.  Be wise as serpents, gentle as doves.

Pour out your heart

Are you hurting? Are you all broken up inside? Is your heart torn to pieces? Because people, even loved ones maybe, hurt you terribly? Run to your Heavenly Father and pour out your heart to Him, cry out to Him! He will fix it, He will comfort you. God is the Healer of broken hearts and He will bind up your sorrows.
God loves you and is waiting for you with outstretched arms. ♥

Faith, forgiveness and prayer

Let go of all unforgiveness before we pray, so that God can also forgive us. If we do not, God won't forgive us our sins.

If you are having trouble letting go and to forgive someone, take it to God in prayer, be honest with God, ask His help. Pray for those who hurt you, who did you wrong, pray with all your heart for them. It will change you, it will make you grow in your love for others, even your enemies, just like Jesus said, to love our enemies, pray for them, bless them. God will help you and fill your heart with His love for people.

God bless you.
