Jesus Rested

Jesus Rested.
So should we.

Mark 6:30-32 NASB2020‬
[30] The apostles gathered together with Jesus; and they reported to Him all that they had done and taught.
[31] And He *said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a little while.” (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.)
[32] And they went away in the boat to a secluded place by themselves. 

Mark 4:38 NASB2020‬
[38] And yet Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

After death

I see Christians online who believe that when we die, we "soul sleep", to be resurrected at the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Well, I found a verse that makes very clear what happens to our soul when we die.  When we die, our body goes back to the earth and becomes dust and our soul does not sleep with the body in the grave, it goes back to God immediately after death to be with God our Creator for all eternity.  Yay!

and the dust returns to the earth as it once was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
•~Ecclesiastes 12:7
