The Blood
Pleading the Blood
Rest in Christ's Finished Work
On The Cross

The victory has already been accomplished through Christ’s finished work on the cross.
No need to plead the blood in every situation, over any object or person.

1 Corinthians 15:57 NLT
But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The blood of Jesus is for the forgiveness of sin because without the shedding of blood their is no forgiveness of sin.

We have already been transferred into the Kingdom of God's dear Son.
We do not need to 'plead the blood' over and over again.

Jesus is not apart from His blood.

Through the years, as we grow in our walk with Christ and grow from the milk to the meat of God's word, I have learned that we do not "plead the blood of Christ".  Through prayer and seeking truth in the Bible, I know that the blood of Jesus shed for our sins, cleanses us from our sins. That's it.  No 'pleading the blood'.  I never knew it came from the 'Word of Faith' movement.  It is a Pentecostal tradition.

Romans 5:9-11 NLT
⁹ And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.
¹⁰ For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.
¹¹ So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

Christ already disarmed spiritual rulers and authorities!πŸ™Œ No need to plead the blood again and again.πŸ™‚πŸ‘‡
Colossians 2:15 NLT
In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

John 19:30 NLT
When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Ephesians 1:7 NLT
He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

Hebrews 9:22 NLT
In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

Hebrews 10:10 NLT
For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.

Colossians 2:14-15 NLT
¹⁴ He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.
¹⁵ In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

1 Timothy 2:5 NLT
For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.

Colossians 1:13-14 NLT
¹³ For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,
¹⁴ who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

1 John 2:1 NLT
My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.

Revelation 1:5 NLT
⁵ and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world. All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.

Revelation 12:11 NLT
And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

Revelation 19:10 NLT
Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:9 NLT
For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.

The Blood of Christ was poured out to save us from the wrath to come.

Colossians 2:8 NLT
Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking [tradition] and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.

Instead of 'pleading'  the blood, we should rest in what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross.
It is already done, finished!πŸ₯°πŸ™Œ✝️πŸ‘πŸ©ΈπŸ•ŠπŸ‘‘

(I provide a link below that explains it perfectly.)
"We have been cleansed by the blood of Christ, and now He is our High Priest and mediator who “always lives to make intercession” for us (Hebrews 7:25). As His sheep we are already under His protection; we simply need to live day by day trusting in Him for what He has already promised and provided."
