Insulted | Blessed

Well, in this week I've been called (online by homosexuals and some "Christians" agreeing with homosexual preachers/marriage/lifestyle), satanic, antichrist, religitard, my hair and my clothes and profile pic were insulted. I was told I look sad and bitter. They definitely don't know me. When they cannot argue with the word of God because it convicts them, they get personal and insulting. How they can interpret what we say in love, as being "homophobic" and "bigotry" is beyond me. Some of the homosexuals claim they are Christians, but they say the Bible should be adapted for today, constantly casting doubt on the Bible and they are the ones calling me satanic/antichrist, yet they talk about their loving God and going against His word. I asked where is the repentance and what is the name of their God, because if they are coming against His word, their god sure is not the God of the Bible?....I'm still waiting.

But glory be to God for His word which has taught me that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities of darkness in high places. So I don't hold it against them, I understand and I forgive them and prefer to pray for them.
So the other day after this verbal assault, I just had to go have quiet time with my Heavenly Father. I poured my heart out to Him, told Him (like He does not already know! lol) about the churches here ordaining homosexuals as deacons, elders and pastors and how the shepherds don't care about their souls, but are leading them the wrong way and not caring about Jesus' sheep! Oh I just had a good talk with God. (Homosexuals reading here will probably think I'm delusional, hearing voices and need to be committed, been accused of that too lol). Nope, I don't 'hear' a literal voice, but my God sure does speak to me!
I was done and read my Bible and this is what God led me to:
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now

“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
~•1 Peter 4:12-19
I was so encouraged and strengthened in my spirit. I will keep fighting the good fight of faith and no devil in hell will shut me up, only God can and He won't, not while I'm speaking His truth in love to a dying world out there.

(As I was pondering all this after writing it in my journal, this popped into my head out of nowhere!):

Onward Christian soldier, marching as to war, with the love of Jesus, marching on before.

That's how it popped in my head, with the word 'love', not cross,
but that's the same really isn't it?...the cross is all about love. :)

Giving to God

Let us give our best when we help the poor, the needy. Jesus said if we've done it unto the least of his brethren, we've done it unto Him. Wouldn't we want to give the best food and drink and clothes to Jesus? Let us do likewise to the poor and needy.

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

~•Amos 8:4-6

And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
~•2 Samuel 24:24

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
~•Matthew 25:40

The Danger of the Blood Moon Phenomenon

The Danger of the Blood Moon Phenomenon

By: David Lazarus, Israel Today

A good friend called me this week to ask what I thought of the Year
of Shemitah and what some are saying is the beginning of the end of the
world. He had been following many of the popular Christian and Messianic
books, magazines, videos and sermons prophesying that there would be
devastating financial turmoil in the American economy coinciding with
this year’s Jewish holidays.

I told him it is wrong for Christians and Messianics to make doom and
gloom predictions based on misguided misinterpretations of ancient
Jewish practices. America may very well be on the verge of calling down
God’s judgments because morality has imploded, not because of Jewish
agricultural customs connected to the Land of Israel.

Nevertheless, when reports of a fall in the stock markets appeared
just days ahead of the Jewish New Year, Christian and Messianic media
screamed again with headlines of “Bloodbath in Global Markets” and
“Blood Moons.” Of course the temporary drop in stock prices had nothing
to do with the ancient Hebrew practice of resting the land every seven
years, nor with cycles of the moon. Stocks dropped over concerns in the
slowing growth of the Chinese markets, and rebounded quickly because the
American economy is, in fact, getting stronger.

Here is why we must not let ourselves be lead astray by these
sensational, unfounded interpretations of the Hebrew calendar, as I told
my friend.

Christians and Messianics are wasting precious time and resources
waiting for a financial collapse that never happens. It reminds me of an
old Bedouin Muslim I befriended in the Sinai Desert. When I asked him
why the Bedouin’s don’t plant crops on their land, he replied, “Seven
years ago there was a flood that destroyed all of our crops. It is
Allah’s will that it be destroyed, so why should I plant again?” That is
the Islamic belief in fatalism that prevents progress and development.
Christians who follow these sensational proclamations about the end of
the world likewise paralyze themselves by foolishly believing a lie.

Some Christians might find it convenient to disengage from a world they believe will soon collapse.

Following these unbiblical prophecies is dangerous on many levels. We
are left scratching our heads in unbelief when Christian and Messianic
predictions of collapse based on sensationalistic interpretations of
Scripture continually prove false. Some have lost faith altogether.

Nowadays, these popular predictions of collapse spread like wildfire
over the Internet for all the world to see. What do people think about
Christians obsessed with a financial crisis that never happens, or
red-colored moons that never appear? These sensationalistic
pronouncements have become an embarrassment to the good name of our Lord Jesus and are making a mockery of our Messianic faith. It is hard enough explaining to my people how so many terrible things could happen in the name of Jesus. Now I also have to explain to Israelis why Christians believe that American financial markets will crash on a
Jewish holiday? Oy.

I am not excited about the world ending anytime soon, and I would
appreciate it if Messianic Jews and Christians would stop using
misguided attempts to misinterpret Jewish customs to sow fear. What we
already know to be true about our sinful nature and the state of our
fallen world are more than enough to remind us of the coming judgment.
Sufficient to the day is its own evil.

Paul's Hardships

Just look at all the hardships Paul went through.  Doesn't seem like he lived his best life then.  It does look like he had LOTS of hardships though!  Just like Jesus said about his followers.

They were poor!  They owned nothing!  Read there in 2 Corinthians 6, Paul's own words!

Look what the late David Wilkerson had to say about the prosperity gospel:
"Satan's gospel is 'gain is godliness'.  In this day and age of success and prosperity preaching, do you wanna hear what the gospel says???  Are you interested???  Here it is from the words of our Master Himself...."
"BLESSED ARE YOU POOR, For yours is the kingdom of God.
Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled.
Blessed are you who weep now, For you shall laugh.
Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man's sake."
Here's what the gospel says about people in these modern times in the church who's seeking after material things...from the lips of Jesus Himself!...
"BUT WOE TO YOU WHO ARE RICH, For you have received your consolation.
Woe to you who are full, For you shall hunger.
Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep.
Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets!!"
"The gospel of gain despises poverty.  It rejects and despises the poor.
Listen to what James said..."But you have despised the poor"!!
"For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place," and say to the poor man, "You stand there," or, "Sit here at my footstool,"
"This is a gospel of partiality to the prosperous and successful and it's an indictment against the poor to whom Jesus ministered.  It exalts prosperity and success.  James said are you not partial?  Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be RICH IN FAITH and heirs of the kingdom?..."
"And for you preachers of the gospel who try to tell me that He became poor that we can become rich in houses and lands, you don't know your Bible!  There it is, it says "has not God chosen the poor RICH IN FAITH"!!
HOW BLIND IS THE CHURCH TODAY!  HOW BLIND!  Is this the gospel for a dying world?!..."gain is godliness, faith is for prosperity, poor people lack faith, Christ became poor so that we could become rich in material goods"?  "He came to give us abundant life"...Is abundant life supposed to be worldly goods?!  NO!...that's ETERNAL LIFE!"

    ~David Wilkerson

AMEN!

Jesus said that in this world we will have tribulation, but to take heart because He has overcome the world. Jesus said a servant is not greater than his master. He said if they persecuted Him they will persecute us. Jesus said take up your cross and follow Him.

By His Spirit

I see unbelievers, especially atheists, mocking the animals gathered to Noah's ark.  I thank God for His word that we can read in the Bible!  Just the other day God led me to a scripture which tells us exactly how He did it.
Isaiah 34 is speaking about God's judgment to come on the nations, how places will be laid waste, uninhabitable and how it will become the dwelling place of animals and He will command them by His mouth and gather them together to these places BY HIS SPIRIT. :)  That's how He did it with the animals in Noah's day.  He gathered them together by HIS SPIRIT.  Hallelujah!  Thank you my God for your wonderful word full of truth!

"Seek and read from the book of the Lord:
    Not one of these shall be missing;
none shall be without her mate.
For the mouth of the Lord has commanded,
and his Spirit has gathered them.
"
~•Isaiah 34:16
